We would be happy to make alterations for a small fee. This charge is necessary because the whole entire necklace may have to be re-done from scratch. Some alterations require several hours to several days to ensure we satisfy the client. Please contact me to discuss your proposed alterations.

Pearls, like you, are precious. Here’s how to keep them beautiful:

• When getting ready, put your pearls on last. Perfume, hair products, and other cosmetics can leave a film on pearls and dull their shine.
• After wearing them, wipe your pearls with a soft, damp cloth to remove any residue, then gently pat with a dry cloth. Store pearls separately in the provided silk Saphyre pouch and gift box to keep them from being damaged by other jewelry.
• If your pearls do accumulate residue, you can wash them by spraying with a mixture of mild liquid soap and water, rinsing gently with lukewarm water, then drying with a non-abrasive cloth. Let them dry before putting away again.
• All Saphyre pearls and gems are strung with steel beading wire which is more durable than string or elastic. Still, if your Saphyre jewelry ever needs restringing, we will provide this service free of charge.

Over time, any sterling piece exposed to air will tarnish (oxidize). Always keep jewelry clean and dry by using cloths, cleansers, and when not wearing G-Ma Jewels, STORE IN SAPHYRE POUCH provided with your purchase.  When cleaning other metals, I suggest the following:

• Pure Silver/Silver/Silver Plate/antique silver – A dab of Wrights Silver cream, polish to a brilliant shine. Do not shower with your pieces on and always STORE IN SAPHYRE POUCH provided with your purchase.
• Brass – one half tsp lemon juice and tsp baking soda (salt works to0). Make a paste and apply to metal. Wait a few minutes rinse with cool water and wipe clean.
• Copper – white vinegar and salt. Make a paste and apply to metal. Wait a few minutes rinse with cool water and wipe clean.
